Basic Course + Baking Program

Course Details

This is the most complete of our programs as it includes both baking and cooking.
Intense and also fun, this course will totally change your life. You arrive on Sunday and are welcomed with a traditional Tuscan lunch. The remainder of the day is yours to settle in, explore the estate, swim , ride a bicycle or just relax while waiting for dinner to be served.
From Monday though Friday you will have continental breakfast at 9:00 AM then lessons, which promptly start at 10,00AM.

Our lessons are hands on, taught in an air conditioned teaching room, and generally go from 3 to 4 hours in the morning and another 3 to 4 hours in the afternoon on Monday Tuesday and Wedensday and 3-4 hours on Thursday and Friday.

Classes are small and make use of all-natural, seasonally-fresh ingredients from our garden: farm to table!

Lunch is normally served around 1:00 PM. At 3:30 you are back in the kitchen ready to bake for 3 hours. See baking program for details or email info@toscanasaporita.com with your questions.

Essential Tuscan techniques you will master

Fresh homemade pasta, raviolis, gnocchi, pizza, bread, focaccia, risotto, bruschette and crostini, roasted meats, fish and meat preparation, pastry dough and desserts, biscotti, ice creams and sorbets, vegetable and grain soups, sour dough and breads.. and much more!

Thursday

Thursday morning: Breakfast at 8:30 AM and then departure for the truffle hunt. Lunch at the truffle factory. At 2:30 PM departure for San Gimignano. Dinner at the school at 7:30 PM

Friday

Friday morning: breakfast at 9:00 AM.
From 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM hands on lessons.
At 1:00 PM lunch.
At 3:00 PM tour.
Dinner at 7:30 PM

$ 4,650 Price per person based on double occupancy. Single supplement applies. A $700 non refundable deposit is needed at the time of the booking.

What is included in the price :
Hands on lessons in the morning and in the afternoon for a total of 7-8 hours on Mon- Tuesd- Wedn and 3-4 hours on Thursday and Friday
Accommodation with self contained bathroom.
Transfer from Pisa (airport or train station) to the school on Sunday and transfer to Pisa (airport or train station) on Saturday morning.
